You can tell a lot about a person by asking them why they think the Islamic world hates America.
The response is usually just a projection of that person's OWN personal grievances with the United States.
Instead of answering the question, they tell you why THEY hate America.
The anti-semite will claim the Islamists hate us "because of our support for Israel".
The socialist (a.k.a. "progressive" or "Democrat") will claim it's because of the "imbalance of wealth and power" which leaves the young men of the Middle East feeling inadequate and angry.
The deranged, self-loathing imbecile (a.k.a. "Ron Paul supporter") will say they don't really hate us, it was the CIA that attacked us on 9-11.

Marvel comics just gave Captain America a new costume. He now proudly wears the Puerto Rican flag. (???)
I see two possible angles here. Either this is completely unintentional on the part of some clueless Art School graduate (in which case it's funny).
Or this is some sort of subversive protest against a symbol of American patriotism (in which case it's just stupid, which makes it even funnier).
In any case, whenever danger threatens, Captain Puerto Rico will be there fighting for justice! Just make sure your hubcaps are screwed on tight.

The other day, I was talking about "Sicko", Michael Moore's latest propaganda piece, on the radio. His premise is that every human being deserves free medical care, and he thinks it's a shame that so many of our nation's poor have no insurance.
My response was that I think it's a shame that so many Americans (Michael Moore being a prime example) live slovenly, sedentary, unhealthy lifestyles, lifestyles which cause illness, which in turn require them to waste money at the doctor's office.
